Winners Revealed at Canadian Screen Awards Children’s Television Ceremony

Canadian Screen Awards week has commenced with the announcement of the Children’s Television Awards winners during the first of six ceremonies held in Toronto. A total of 16 winners were revealed during this event.

Among the winners were Josette Jorge for Best supporting performer in the children’s or youth category for her role in “The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia.” Will Arnett also secured a win for Best voice performance in the show “Super Team Canada.”

Other notable winners included “Toopy and Binoo Fabulous Adventures” for Best writing in the pre-school category, “Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express” for Best original music in animation, and “Old Enough! – Where’s The Ginger, Please?” for Best picture editing in the children’s or youth category.

Furthermore, “Macy Murdoch — Tick, Tick, Gone” received the award for Best direction in the children’s or youth category, while “Unicorn Academy — Winter Solstice” was honored with the Best sound award in animation.

Additionally, “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum — I am Jackie Robinson” received recognition for both Best writing and Best direction in the animation category. The show also won the Canada Media Fund kids’ choice award.

The event also celebrated the achievement of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood” for Best pre-school program or series, “Odd Squad” for Best lead performer in the children’s or youth category, and “Odd Squad” again for Best children’s or youth fiction program or series.

Moreover, “Super Team Canada” clinched the award for Best animated program or series. Notably, the show was also recognized for Best voice performance, won by Will Arnett.

The Canadian Screen Awards for Children’s Television recognized outstanding talent and creativity in various categories.
