“Ruby Rose Alleges Katy Perry Assaulted Her”

An ongoing investigation is underway in connection to Australian actress Ruby Rose’s claim that Katy Perry sexually assaulted her at a Melbourne nightclub many years ago. The American singer has denied the allegation. State police in Victoria, Australia, are looking into claims of a “historical sexual assault” that occurred in Melbourne in 2010, aligning with Rose’s assertion of an assault at the Spice Market Nightclub “almost two decades ago.”

Rose made the allegation on social media in response to a post about Perry’s reaction to singer Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance. She mentioned that she had visited the police station and planned to share more details once she felt ready.

Initially, Rose expressed reluctance to file a police report, emphasizing the importance of releasing such experiences to avoid internalizing them. Representatives for both Rose and Perry have been contacted for comments but have not responded. Perry’s representative has refuted the accusation, labeling it as “dangerous, reckless lies.”

In a series of posts, Rose described the alleged incident during her early 20s, accusing Perry of inappropriate behavior. She recounted an unsettling encounter where Perry allegedly exposed herself to Rose. Rose admitted to previously downplaying the incident as a humorous anecdote due to pressure from Perry to maintain secrecy.

She mentioned that it took almost twenty years for her to come forward with the accusation and expressed gratitude for being able to share her story. Perry was recently spotted at the Coachella music festival in California with her partner, former prime minister Justin Trudeau.

In an Instagram post, Perry shared images of their time at the festival, including a video of Bieber’s performance. The video showcased Bieber watching his old YouTube videos, prompting Perry to joke about the absence of ads while watching with her partner.
