The Edmonton Oilers have traded for goaltender Connor Ingram from the Utah Mammoth, with the deal involving future considerations. Ingram, 27, who recently went through waivers, is set to join the Bakersfield Condors in the AHL. As part of the transaction, Utah will retain $800,000 US from Ingram’s annual salary of $1.95 million. Back in March, Ingram had to step away from the game after his mother passed away due to breast cancer. Consequently, he did not take part in the team’s training camp this season. During his time with Utah last year, Ingram recorded a 9-8-4 record, with a 3.27 goals-against average and an .882 save percentage across 22 games.
