The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced on Monday that they are looking into a fresh sexual assault accusation involving hip-hop figure Sean (Diddy) Combs, who is currently serving a four-year jail term for offenses related to prostitution.
According to a police report referenced by NBC News, a male music producer and publicist alleged that during a 2020 photoshoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and requested the accuser’s assistance. The producer claimed that Combs then threw a soiled shirt at him. The accuser, whose identity is concealed in the report, stated that he kept silent for years due to feeling ashamed but eventually reported the incident to the Largo, Fla., police in September, shortly after Combs’ prior convictions.
Combs’ legal representative did not provide an immediate response to The Associated Press’ email seeking input on the new accusations. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department acknowledged receipt of the official report from the Florida agency on Friday and confirmed their intent to investigate the claims.
The report also mentions an episode from March 2021 where the accuser alleged that two men covered his head before Combs entered the room and labeled him a traitor. Combs was convicted in July for transporting his partners and male escorts across the country for drug-fueled sexual encounters at various locations over several years. Although acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have led to a life sentence, he is scheduled for release in May 2028, with the possibility of sentence reductions through participation in rehabilitation and prison programs.
