“Prince Harry to Honor Veterans in Toronto Visit”

Prince Harry is scheduled to make a trip to Toronto this week to visit the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre and participate in various events in honor of veterans leading up to Remembrance Day. The prince’s visit to the city is set for Wednesday and Thursday.

During his time in Toronto, Harry will engage in a series of activities on Wednesday morning before joining a private lunch hosted by the True Patriot Love Foundation, an organization that provides support to Canadian military personnel, veterans, and their families. Later in the evening, he will attend a fundraising dinner benefiting the HALO Trust, an organization that was also championed by his late mother, Princess Diana.

On Thursday, Harry will have a private visit at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre to meet with residents, as confirmed by a spokesperson for Sunnybrook. In the evening, he will attend the national tribute dinner hosted by True Patriot Love. The organization did not provide any comments on the royal guest’s participation in the events.

The 41-year-old Duke of Sussex is a military veteran, having served for 10 years in the British army, including two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

Prince Harry, along with his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, relocated to the United States in 2020 after a brief stay in Canada, eventually settling in Meghan’s home state of California. The couple announced their decision to step back from their senior royal roles in 2020, and Buckingham Palace later confirmed that they would not be resuming their previous duties as working members of the Royal Family.

In the line of succession to the throne, Harry, the son of King Charles, holds the fifth position. His brother, Prince William, is the first in line, followed by William’s three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
