Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and her doubles partner Erin Routliffe from New Zealand have decided to end their partnership. The duo successfully clinched three doubles titles in 2025, emerging victorious in Stuttgart, Cincinnati, and the U.S. Open.
Reflecting on their journey, Dabrowski expressed in an Instagram post, “Titles, tears, and triumphs – a rollercoaster of emotions that caught us by surprise. As our business partnership concludes, our friendship endures.”
Despite representing New Zealand on the court, Routliffe holds Canadian citizenship and had previously competed for Canada. Dabrowski and Routliffe joined forces in 2023, securing their first Grand Slam title at the U.S. Open that year.
While the official announcement of their split came on Wednesday, Dabrowski and Routliffe had started playing with different partners towards the end of the previous season. However, they reunited at the WTA Finals before parting ways.
