The 30-year-old outperformed her competitors, securing a comfortable victory by a remarkable 1.66-second margin. This triumph marked her ninth win in Levi and an impressive 102nd World Cup victory.
On her 19th birthday, Albanian skier Lara Colturi claimed the second spot, while German skier Emma Aicher achieved her first career World Cup slalom podium by finishing third. Unfortunately, Canadian skiers Sarah Bennett, Kiki Alexander, Arianne Forget, Amelia Smart, and Ali Nullmeyer did not proceed to the second run.
Shiffrin’s winning time of 1:48.92 solidified her sixty-fifth career World Cup slalom victory in Levi, Finland. Her exceptional performance in this event further cements her status as one of the top contenders in the world of alpine skiing.
