Elusive artist Banksy has seemingly acknowledged that a new mural in London, featuring two children lying down and gesturing towards the sky, is indeed his latest creation. The artwork, in black and white, portrays two individuals in winter attire lying on the ground, with one of them pointing upwards. Banksy shared photos of the mural on his official Instagram account following its emergence on a building wall in Bayswater, west London, prompting speculation about his involvement.
Another identical image surfaced at the base of a tower in central London, but Banksy did not showcase that version on his social media account. The renowned artist, known for his provocative and valuable pieces, first gained recognition for his graffiti work in Bristol, England. While his art often carries political undertones, this latest mural appears to lack a direct political message.
In a previous incident in September, Banksy made headlines with a mural depicting a judge brandishing a gavel over an unarmed protester holding a blood-stained sign. The artwork, located on the exterior wall of a Royal Courts of Justice building, was swiftly concealed due to the structure’s historical significance. Banksy’s creations frequently fetch millions at auctions and have faced theft and vandalism challenges over the years.
