The Toronto Blue Jays are gearing up for the American League Division Series by organizing two intrasquad games this week at Rogers Centre. The team announced that the informal scrimmages, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, will run for four to five innings each day. Players from the Blue Jays will be joined by members of the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons during these practice games.
To involve fans, the team will open the lower bowl of the stadium for general admission. Tickets priced at $10 will be available, with all net proceeds going to the Jays Care Foundation charity.
Following their 13-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays to close out the regular season, the Blue Jays clinched their first East Division title since 2015. The team will now await the outcome of the wild-card series between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox to determine their opponent in the upcoming Division Series.
