Canada’s Carney Supports U.S. Action on Iran

Canada’s Prime Minister, Mark Carney, expressed support for the U.S.’s efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons during a speech at the Canada-India Growth and Investment Forum in Mumbai. Carney emphasized that Iran poses a significant threat to international peace and security due to its destabilizing activities in the Middle East and poor human rights record.

Carney clarified that Canada is not militarily involved in the current situation and is not part of any military planning related to the conflict. The U.S. and Israel initiated the attack on Iran, targeting key locations linked to Iran’s leadership.
