With a record of 11-7-6, the Rise head into the final week of the Canadian professional women’s soccer league’s inaugural season holding a three-point lead over both Ottawa and Montreal, who stand at 10-8-6 each, vying for the second position in the six-team league. Toronto has already secured the top spot in the standings, while Vancouver, Montreal, and Ottawa have clinched the remaining three playoff berths. The teams will face off in two-leg semifinals based on their final standings after next week’s matches.
