“Justin Bieber Wins Best Male Pop Artist at AMAs”

Justin Bieber broke a new record at the American Music Awards on Monday night by clinching the title of best male pop artist for the fifth time. Hailing from Stratford, Ontario, Bieber had already secured this title four times in the past. His first win in this category, previously known as favorite pop/rock male artist, dates back to 2010.

Arriving at this year’s event in Las Vegas, Bieber was nominated in four categories, including artist of the year and album of the year for his 2021 album “Swag.”

With this latest win, Bieber’s tally of American Music Awards now stands at 19, putting him on par with the late Kenny Rogers for the second-most wins by a male artist. Michael Jackson, who has 24 awards, remains the top male winner.

Justin Bieber made a triumphant return to the stage last month at Coachella, his first major performance since canceling a tour in 2022 due to health issues related to Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

Among the other big winners of the night were BTS, who claimed the artist of the year award, and Sabrina Carpenter, who took home the album of the year honor.
