Scott Walker, the Guelph Storm partner and president of hockey operations, expressed immense pride in being chosen to host the prestigious event during Guelph’s bicentennial year.
Mayor Cam Guthrie also expressed excitement, stating that the city is prepared to make the 2027 Memorial Cup a focal point of its bicentennial celebrations. The exact dates for the event in spring 2027 will be announced later. The upcoming Memorial Cup will take place in Kelowna, B.C., from May 21 to 31, 2026.
