In a video shared on his Instagram page, Jelly Roll expressed, “I wasn’t planning to discuss this tonight, but the internet spreads falsehoods. My wife and I are best friends, and that will never change.” He dismissed any claims of infidelity, stating that both parties remained loyal throughout their marriage, despite his previous admission of an affair in an interview last year.
Acknowledging their decade-long marriage, Jelly Roll expressed gratitude towards Bunnie Xo for their incredible journey together. On the same day, Bunnie Xo, also known as Alisa Deford, addressed the divorce on her podcast, “Dumb Blonde,” revealing that the legal proceedings are expected to conclude in a few weeks. Despite the separation, they are committed to co-parenting and revealed plans to have a child together through IVF.
Bunnie Xo recounted the events leading to their split, citing a heated argument on Mother’s Day where she impulsively urged him to initiate the divorce process. Following this confrontation, they ceased communication for several weeks until Jelly Roll eventually filed for divorce on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences per court records in Williamson County, Tenn.
The couple, who originally tied the knot in 2016 and renewed their vows in 2023, do not share any biological children but Jelly Roll has two children from previous relationships. Their relationship struggles were publicly discussed prior; Jelly Roll confessed to an affair in a podcast interview last year, while Bunnie Xo disclosed the breakup in 2018 through a TikTok post.
