A person was taken into custody for interrogation on Tuesday in connection with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. This development occurred shortly after the FBI unveiled surveillance footage showing an individual in a mask and carrying a gun holster outside Guthrie’s residence on the night she went missing from her Arizona home.
Subsequently, media outlets spoke with an individual who claimed to have been questioned and subsequently released. However, official confirmation regarding the release status of the detained person has not been provided by authorities.
Law enforcement officers apprehended the individual during a traffic stop south of Tucson, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. Further details about the individual and the specific location of the detention were not immediately disclosed.

A Phoenix TV station, KNXV-TV, interviewed a delivery person who stated that they were detained by police on suspicion of involvement in Guthrie’s kidnapping.
